Xfire Age of Conan Competition

Whether you currently play the Age of Conan MMO, or whether you want to start playing. Either way, you will want to read this bit of news.
Xfire, a tool and an online community where you can share your gaming experiance with others, is holding a competition where you can become one of the first owners of a brand new Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard, aswell as some other goodies they’re throwing in.
The competition is simple, to enter you simply join the official Xfire Age of Conan guild and then from the April 2nd to April 16th play the game as much as you can, the more hours you play, the better prizes you can get. Here are the prize details:
- Grand prize (1 person, Play for 50+ hours) – Prizes include a pre-ordered Logitech G19 keyboard, a life time subscription to Age of Conan, and finally some bonus in game goodies.
- Gold Prize (9 winners, Play for 50+ hours) – Prizes include a pre-ordered Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard, 90 free days of Age of Conan, and a bundle of in game items.
- Silver Prizes (25 winners, Play for 25+ hours) – Prizes include 60 free days of Age of Conan and an inflatable Conan sword (screw the first prize, I want the inflatable sword!)
And finally:
- Bronze Prize (50 winners, Play for 1+ hours) – Pretty simple, but the prize is a free month of Age of Conan, not bad for playing for just over an hour.
These sound like great prizes to get your hands on, so whether you already play it, no harm in joining the guild and see if you get anything, and if you currently don’t play it, it’s a very good nudge to get you playing it.
One thing I did notice about the competition which I thought was funny is that the competition is open to anyone over the age of 13, although the game itself is an 18+ so you would think they would restrict the competition to 18+, although of course there is a large population of the game under the age of 18.

Wow, that looks like it was a brilliant comp, but I think I might have got a little addicted had I entered! I love this game. Kind of strange about the age requirements for the game and competition, but hey, I suppose they have to try and let the person who wins the comp get the prize, we all know gamers who play 18+ games underage.
