The moment millions of World of Warcraft players have been waiting for has arrived. The release date of the second expansion to the massively popular MMO, World of Warcraft.
World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King has been announced as the 13th November 2008, although some of you may say that when the first expansion was released, The Burning Crusade, the actual release date was 3 months after the announcement date, but hopefully they have done a better job of predicting the date this time.
Blizzard has also announced that there will be a standard edition and a collectors edition, I’m sure the collectors will sell like hot cakes. The collectors edition will feature the following bonuses:
All of this sounds brilliant, however, all of the retailers that are listed on the World of Warcraft website have not got the collector’s edition listed as of yet, hopefully they will be it listed with a price tag very soon.
Have you played it since it came out?
So far, it’s been fun to explore. I don’t play a lot, but it’s fun to log on and check out the new zones. I was getting pretty tired of rep grinding in BC, heh.
There is obviously a lot to know about this. I think you made some good points in Features also.
I played FF11 for over a year before World of Warcraft came out. For a loooooong time I didn’t even consider wow because the graphics didn’t seem to be as good, at least on my PC. FINALLY me and my friends decided to get WoW and it’s a pretty awesome game. You can level so much faster and there’s way more fun-time plus the PVP totally SLAMS FF11.
Just thought someone should admit this…
I’ve been a fan of World of Warcraft. I use to play to remove my stress. It really gives me fun.
