Game.co.uk have got a new competition running to run alongside their summer sales.

From the 3rd till the 30th of July, Game are having a massive summer sale where you can pick up some pretty great deals. They say the deals will be updated every week, so keep your eyes on the Sizzling Summer Deals page.

Currently there are 4 deals available:

  1. Arma 2 (PC) – £17.99
  2. Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (Xbox 360) – £19.99
  3. Guitar Hero Metallica Guitar Bundle (PS3, Xbox, Wii)- £49.99
  4. Guitar Hero World Tour Full Bundle (Xbox, Wii) – £119.99

Guitar Hero MetallicaThose last 2 are particularly good. On he Metallica bundle you save £30 and on the World Tour bundle you save a massive £60.

Where their competition comes into these sales is that for every product that you buy between July 3rd and 30th, it doesn’t matter whether or not it’s in the summer sale, you will be entered into the competition draw to win gaming equipment worth £3000.

The grand prize for this competition includes this: 42 inch Panasonic HD TV, 5.1 BluRay Surround Sound system, 80GB Playstation 3, Xbox 30 Elite console, Nintendo Wii, 3 HDMI cables (wouldn’t want to give you all that stuff without being able to connect it to the TV), Pyramat Gameseat, Panasonic video camera and finally a Samsung Digital Camera.

I’m not entirely sure where the digital camera and video camera come into the gaming prize, but I certainly wouldn’t question it if I won. I will definitely be buying some games this month to get my entry into the competition, and I recommend that you do to. A prize like this, you don’t want to miss out!

Wow, that’s a brilliant competition. I just wonder how many people are going to enter it. The guitar hero metallica bundle is particularly tempting. I hope they have some more serious gamer Xbox 360 titles up soon.

There must be hundreds of thousands of entries as you don’t even have to know about the competition to be entered :P It would be even more if they gave you one entry per purchase, not sure if that is the case or not.
