I recently posted that The Beatles: Rock Band preorder club had been opened and that it would contain some pictures of the guitar controllers that they will be releasing with the game. I also said that I would get some images of these guitars when they appeared on the net.
Well, I did forget to find them when they were released but better late than never so here are the images that were released onto the preorder club a few days ago.
The guitar controllers released are the Rickenbacker 325 and the Gretsch Duo Jet which were played by John Lennon and George Harrison throughtout their musical careers. I must say that both of these looks brilliant and I might have to buy one of these to replace my Guitar Hero 3 controller.
Both of these guitars will be available when the game is released on September 9th and will cost €99.99, $99 or £89.99 depending on where you buy yours from. However, before making your choice of guitar to buy, remember, there will also be another guitar released with the whole bundle that comes with the drums, this guitar will be a replica of the Höfner bass guitar used by Sir Paul McCartney.
So far The Beatles: Rock Band is looking like it’s going to be a good game, especially with the array of controllers that are being released along side the game, hopefully we’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the drums that are being released soon.
Excellent, I never even knew these were coming. I think I might have to join you on purchasing one. I think the Duo Jet looks the best.
I’m a great of the Rock Band series as well as The Beatles, which makes this game great for me!
