Although Rock Band do bring out a lot of new tracks for download, I thought I would mention this one because they are so huge. From yesterday, April 14th, Rock Band 1 and 2 gamers will be able to get their hands on the latest album from American group, Guns N’ Roses. The album is called Chinese Democracy and it’s the bands 6th album, released in November, this album is the first for 15 years from Guns N’ Roses and although the time gap, it managed to get to number 2 in the charts. One song from Chinese Democracy, Shackler’s Revenger, is already part of the Rock Band 2 and I must say, it’s an awesome song to listen to,…
The amazing game that is Rock Band has proved to be a huge success in the US. After just 15 months on the shelves it has raked in a whopping $1 billion retail sales, and that’s not counting downloads. Rock Band is my personal favorite music game on the Xbox 360 and it comes as no real surprise that it has become such a huge hit. I personally think it’s the best because of the song list that comes with the game itself plus the huge array of songs available for download means you will never get board of the same songs, because there are so many of them. With over 600 songs available from the online music store and…

After some slight stock problems, I finally received my Rock Band 2 yesterday from Game. This means I can now compare Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour. Lets start off with Guitar Hero. Like I said in my previous post, the customisation in the game is brilliant, you can customise everything from hair colour to mic stand. A very good point I found in Guitar Hero that’s not in Rock Band is the ability to pause the game during a long note, and as you go back into the game, it does a countdown and that allows you to continue playing that note without cutting the note short because you paused it, you’ll see what I mean, but…
