Microsoft have announced a brand new controller for the Xbox 360, a wireless microphone. The new microphone is designed to be used with the huge number of music games that have already been released aswell as ones that are due for release in the future. Just a few games that were pointed out during the announcement were Lips, Guitar Hero Metallica, Rock Band 2, The Beatles: Rock Band and finally Lips: Number One Hits. During  a radio interview, Green Day lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong said the following: “Yeah we’re doing a whole Green Day Rock Band.” and when questioned about the release date of such a game he said: “I’m not sure. It happened, my Rock Band pass drum pedal snapped, which is just a little bit of a pain. It’s mainly a pain because I bought it from Zavvi and since coming out of administration, the amount of stores they have is slightly lacking, especially in the area I live, not even sure they would give me a replacement, but I might as well try. It appears that the Lego franchise can be stretched further than we had every imagined. After many rumours, Harmonix, MTV Games and EA have finally announced what will come with The Beatles: Rock Band Limited Edition Premium Bundle, and it sounds pretty awesome.
