Games You Should Buy, Not Rent

I have always found that renting games is one of the best ways to play the most recent games. It’s good for a number of reasons, whether you are a little bit strapped for cash at the time of release, or maybe you are just unsure about the game. Even if it’s neither of those reasons, renting is still a good option, my example would be with the Lego games, despite being really great games, they are short, and with no multiplayer, I find myself completing them in a number of days. So I would much rather pay £5 to rent it than have to pay £40 and have it sitting on the shelf. This aside, renting games isn’t perfect…

Red Faction Guerrilla New Content

The game has been out less than a month but the creators of the popular Red Faction Guerrilla game has announced the release of some new downloadable content. They have announced a total of 3 different download packs that are going to be released for the game in the next few coming months. The first of the 3 will be the “Demons of the Badlands” pack which will feature a new single player mission line that is going to take place in a whole new part of Mars. When I first saw that there was a new Red Faction game coming out I was unsure; I found them fun but they were never really that good of a game. However, one thing that they do get right is blowing stuff up, which is basically what this game is full of. The game begins with Alec Mason ( That’s you ) arriving on Mars to do some work and then obviously with in the first 5 minutes you see your brother get killed by those damn Earth Defence Force (EDF). So you decide to raise some hell for those EDF by joining the Red Faction Guerilla unit.
