A nice amount of downloadable content is coming to the Xbox 360 Marketplace in the next few weeks. The first one is the new content for the very popular Left 4 Dead game. The new pack is called the ‘Survival Pack’ and the kind guys at Valve have announced that this pack will be free, how good of them. If you don’t yet know, this pack includes a new multiplayer mode called Survival and allows you to play through the ‘Death Toll’ and ‘Dead Air’ campaigns in versus mode. As many people already know, the final sets of downloadable maps for Halo 3 are being released soon. The pack is called the Mythic Map Pack and contains 3 maps called: ‘Sandbox’, ‘Orbital’ and ‘Assembly’. Just the names alone don’t really get you excited, but here’s some quotes from Bungie about the new maps and what to expect. Sandbox “Combines large-scale vehicular combat with a limitless amount of Forge customization. Boasting a tiered, open-world layout, Halo 3 players will be able to build their own unique game experiences using the Forge map editor.
