If you remember, back in August I posted about the newly announced Left 4 Dead downloadable content. Well today, with Left 4 Dead 2 less than a couple of months away from release, the second pack for the original Left 4 Dead game has been released for Xbox 360 and PC gamers. The new content, called “Crash Course“, will bring a brand new map, named ‘Crash’, which will of course be playable in single player, co-op mode, and online mode. Unfortunately, if your an Xbox 360 gamer, you are getting the worse deal when it comes to the DLC as you will have to pay. The fee for 360 owners will be 560 Microsoft Points, however, if you own the…
If you look at the list of upcoming games online, you will see that on the run up to Christmas, plus for a number of months after it, there is a massive amount of games being released. Now this is a definite good thing because it will keep be busy. The thing about the majority of the games being released is that they are sequels as in either continuing the story of the previous game, like Bioshock 2 , or just another game in the series like Fifa 10. There is nothing wrong with this really because you obviously know the last game is good so you won’t shouldn’t be disappointed. The only downside is that with some of the games…
No one would have expected this piece of news, especially with the release of Left 4 Dead 2 looming. However, today, Valve have announced that they will be releasing their second download pack for gamers this September named as ‘Crash Course’. This new pack will include a new single and co-op player campaign mission as well as a new map called ‘Crash’ which you can play online on the various game modes. I say no one would have expected this pack because Valve are not one’s for rushing games. When you consider that Half Life 1 was released back in 1998 and then they released the second game 6 years later in 2004, it shows they like to put thought…
Earlier this week I posted how you can get a free Left 4 Dead Premium Xbox dashboard theme when you buy the Official Xbox Magazine. Well, on the way back from the airport, I picked up my copy and got my free theme. I was slightly confused when I went to buy the magazine because when I picked it up, the cover was based on the upcoming Splinter Cell Conviction game. The reason it confused me was because at the beginning of the week I had read and seen pictures that the cover would in fact feature a Left 4 Dead cover. Anyway, after scouring down the features of the magazine and reading “Left 4 Dead NXE Theme!”, I handed…
The Official Xbox Magazine are giving away some nice goodies in this months edition of the magazine. With the magazine you will get a premium Left 4 Dead Xbox dashboard theme for free, as well as 5 gamerpics for you to show off over Xbox Live. The theme was created by Valve, creators of the Left 4 Dead game, specifically for the magazine and by the looks of the screenshot that was placed on the CVG website last week, it looks like Valve did a pretty good job. The reason for all the goodies is because the Official Xbox Magazine have got some great information about the upcoming Left 4 Dead 2 game that is due for release this November….
