When I first saw that there was going to be a new real time stratergy game based on the Halo series, I thought, great! A new style Halo game, plus with a new part of the Halo storyline. When I got the game yesterday, I was certainly not disappointed. It’s absolutely brilliant and you will want to keep playing it for hours on end. The game has a 15 level campaign which leads you through the events during the build up to the original Halo game. A couple of new Xbox 360 accessories have been released to coincide with game releases, but once I got my hands on them, I found the age ratings to be pretty stupid. These accessories are the GTA 4 The Lost and Damned 1600 Points Card and the Xbox Live 12 Month Halo Wars Gold Subscription Card + 1 Month Bonus. A demo for the much anticipated Halo Wars game is now available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo is free of charge and allows you to experience the game before release and should help you to decide whether to pre-order the game or not. Halo Wars, built specially for the Xbox 360 by the makers of ‘Age of Empires’, lets you command armies of the UNSC and the Covenant in huge battles within the Halo universe which took place 20 years before the events of Halo 1.
