Activision Blizzard announced today that their latest game in the Guitar Hero series, Guitar Hero 5, is set for release on September 1st, conviniently 1 week before the release of The Beatles Rock Band which is due on the 9th. This new Guitar Hero game will feature 85 master recordings of which include the like of The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon and Johnny Cash. The major details that were released was that the game is going to arrive in Autumn for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 2 and the Nintendo Wii. The upcoming Guitar Hero 5 will contain 85 master recordings of which will contains songs from artists that include Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, The White Stripes, Santana, Kings of Leon and Vampire Weekend.
