Call Of Duty is a franchise that started way back in 2003 and dived into what Medal of Honour had already been doing in simulating the infantry efforts in WW2. Since the first game we have had COD 2, 3,4 (modern warfare), world at war, modern warfare 2 and Black Ops and this is only including the main games in the franchise. Ubisoft, creators of the popular Splinter Cell series, have announced today that they will be delaying the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction, along with a number of other games, until the beginning of 2010. Along with the latest Splinter Cell game, they are also delaying Red Steel 2, now both are planned for an early 2010 release. Also, they are delaying I Am Alive and the next Ghost Recon game, however, these games are pushed back even further with possible release dates expected to be around 2011.
