Tired of all your Rock Band and gaming controllers messing up your bedroom or living room? Well you no longer have to worry about tripping over your drum kit and guitars with one of LevelUp’s gaming ottomans. The gaming storage boxes help you organize all of your controllers and games while still looking stylish wherever you put it in your house.

Each ottoman is built with a solid wood frame while featuring a durable leather style PVC exterior. Inside the storage container itself, there are various pockets and velcro straps to make sure all of your gaming gear is tucked aware safe and secure. In terms of what it can carry, on the LevelUp website, they say that it can hold:

  • 2 Rock Band/Guitar Hero guitar controllers.
  • 1 drum kit controller.
  • 1 microphone
  • 1 set of drumsticks

As you’ll see in the pictures, it also comes with a tray which can be used for holding the standard console controllers. Although they list all of the below on the LevelUp website, unless you get a second controller tray, I would be surprised if you could fit all of the following controllers into the one tray:

  • 16 games, should be just about enough to hold all of the variations of Guitar Hero and Rock Band I would have thought.
  • 8 Nintendo Wii controllers
  • 4 Nintendo Wii nunchuks
  • 4 Xbox 360 controllers

At the time of release, there will be two styles available, whether more will be released is unknown: Back in Black and Skull and Snakes. The Back in Black version is the cheaper of the two version, costing around $90. Skull and Snakes on the other hand is considerably more expensive, especially when you don’t seem to gain any extra features, costing between $180 and $200.

At time of publishing, I believe these ottomans are only available in the US, I just hope they will be coming to the UK soon as I could really do with one of these to clear up some of controllers lying around on my floor. $200 is pretty steep, but the Back in Black one has certainly caught my eye.

  2. Not to mention, most girls probably don’t find it a turn on to see your little plastic drum set in the corner of your place so it’s probably worth it in the long run.

  3. My biggest problem with it though is that it takes up so much freaking space in my room.

  4. Apart from being sturdy, the ottoman looks very sleek too! It surely can store in style!

  5. This ottoman is a great idea, wish it was available in the UK. I’m sure there would be more tidier kids rooms around if there were more of these around!

  6. The exterior surface of the ottoman looks chic! Is that a matte finish?
