Rock Band Goes Over the $1 Billion Mark

Rock BandThe amazing game that is Rock Band has proved to be a huge success in the US. After just 15 months on the shelves it has raked in a whopping $1 billion retail sales, and that’s not counting downloads.

Rock Band is my personal favorite music game on the Xbox 360 and it comes as no real surprise that it has become such a huge hit. I personally think it’s the best because of the song list that comes with the game itself plus the huge array of songs available for download means you will never get board of the same songs, because there are so many of them.

With over 600 songs available from the online music store and the games themselves, Rock Band have sold over 40 million individual songs from the marketplace alone. It seems that the makers of the game will be dancing round the office at the sound of those stats.
