Rock Band Broken Bass PedalIt happened, my Rock Band pass drum pedal snapped, which is just a little bit of a pain. It’s mainly a pain because I bought it from Zavvi and since coming out of administration, the amount of stores they have is slightly lacking, especially in the area I live, not even sure they would give me a replacement, but I might as well try.

If getting a replacement from Zavvi doesn’t work, looks like I will have to buy a new one from one of the various Rock Band bass pedal makers.

There are some great replacement bass drum pedals out there that work for all of the Rock Band and Guitar Hero games, plus they are made of metal, here’s some of the best ones:

  • Destroyer Pedal – $75 and ships internationally for $45
  • Rock Pedal – $75
  • Omega Pedal $75
  • Nyko Pedal – $20, strangely cheap so not sure, but they don’t ship internationally
  • Blockhead Pedal – Can only find it at BestBuy and they don’t ship internationally
  • There are also places like Amazon and Ebay that may stock them but I wouldn’t get your hopes up for finding one

The only problem with these is the price, they are around $80 for the better ones, plus delivery, and if you live in the UK, it can be an even bigger problem as I discovered. Many places don’t do shipping to the UK, and if they do they charge huge amounts for it.

Obviously if you have the cash to splash out on the Destroyer Pedal, then that’s your best bet because it’s apparently indestructable, it also can be adjusted to suit your playing style and difficulty.
