Good news for PS3 and Wii owners, Rock Band 2 has been given a release date for the PS3, PS2 and Wii. For the PS3 and PS2 versions are set for release on March 27th and the Wii version on April 24th.
As for the price, the PS3 version will retail for around £40, £30 for the PS2, and £40 for the Wii version. Also, EA is lowering the price of the instruments. The standalone guitar is now £40, the drums are now £50 and the whole bundle with drums, guitar and mic is now £90.
And that’s not it! You can now buy the software and the instruments all in one big bundle, it will cost you £120 for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and £110 for the PS2 and Wii versions.
This is actually a bargain for what is an unbelievably addictive game.
The game is really cheap for the ones who love guitar. I like better the DJ hero which got announced. I love dance music that is why I like the game.

What about Xbox 360? I only have Xbox 360! Panic! I need a Wii! I love this game so much, I’m waiting eagerly for the Xbox release. Such a good game.
Amy, Rock Band 2 was released on the Xbox 360 platform last November so you could have been playing it for the last eight months. I’d go out and get a copy now as it’s a great game.
