Red Faction DLCThe game has been out less than a month but the creators of the popular Red Faction Guerrilla game has announced the release of some new downloadable content.

They have announced a total of 3 different download packs that are going to be released for the game in the next few coming months. The first of the 3 will be the “Demons of the Badlands” pack which will feature a new single player mission line that is going to take place in a whole new part of Mars.

This new content will be appearing on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Network on August 13th for a small fee of 800 Microsoft points, or $9.99.

Along with the announcement of this content, they also released some screen shots to give you a taster of what to expect when the new content is released. Two of the screen shots are displayed on this post, check out the other 3 by visiting the announcement post.

It does seem a little strange that they are announcing this brand new content so soon to the release of the game. Considering the length of game play that you get out of the single player campaign with all the missions and roaming around Mars looking for the hidden treasures. Lets not forget that the game also contains a multiplayer so announcing this content just 25 days after release is a little surprising.

My favourite games are mainly FPS games, Halo, Gears of War and Call of Duty are particular favourites. However, I'll play pretty much all genres of games, anything from Guitar Hero 5 to Lego Harry Potter, they're all great!
