With the release of a couple of big games set for release next week, Halo Wars and Killzone 2. I thought this post would be useful to some people. I’ll start with Halo Wars I guess.
Halo Wars is a real time strategy game based in the time before the first Halo game. Halo Wars is only on the Xbox 360, and if you haven’t yet, you can download the Halo Wars demo for free just to give it a try. If you just want to see what to expect, here is one of the trailers for the game:
Now for the second game, Killzone 2. This game is only for the PlayStation 3 and it looks absolutely amazing. This first person shooter is the sequel to the original Killzone game, but this time it features a whole new range of weapons and vehicles, aswell as the classic guns from the original game. Plus, being on the PlayStation 3, you can experience all of that in extremely realistic environments with amazing weather effects. Overall, it looks like it’s going to be a pretty impressive game. The trailer is below if you haven’t yet had a chance to see what Killzone 2 is going to look like.
Remember, both of these games come out on February 27th, that’s next Friday, so if you want to get yours in time, make sure that you pre-order them. Also, if you don’t yet own a PlayStation 3 but fancy getting one after seeing Killzone 2. A new console bundle is going on sale on the 27th which contains the 80GB console and Killzone 2.
