Halo Wars Game FootageThe newest game in the Halo series, Halo Wars, is scheduled for release on February 27th, so, don’t forget to pre-order yours.

This new Halo game is like none before, it’s a strategery based game based on the world of Halo where you control an army of the UNSC and have to fight against the alien race that is the Covenant.

Halo Wars is based just before the beginning of the first Halo game, and this will allow gamers to discover the experience the story before the original Halo 1, without having to read the books.

This new game is exclusive to Xbox 360 and is a must have for any Halo fan. There are 2 different versions available, the standard edition and the limited collectors edition, which contains the following goodies:

  • Three unreleased Halo 3 multiplayer maps
  • Limited edition steelbook case
  • Unique in-game vehicle, Wraith
  • Hardback graphic novel
  • 6 leader cards
  • “Spirit of fire” patch
  • Game disc, manual and Xbox Live Trial card

That all sounds pretty awesome and it costs £44.99 from HMV.co.uk or £48.93 from Game.co.uk, the standard edition costs £39.14 from Game.co.uk.
