For any Xbox 360 owners who got the latest biggest release, Skate 2, and fancy grabbing those hard to get achievements. Well here’s an excellent video that will explain how to do the “Need For Speed” and “Juggling Chainsaws” achievements. The video comes from AchievementHunter.com: Aswell as these 2 achievements, the “Sandbag” achievement can also be grabbed here. As you race down the roads at high speeds to get “Need For Speed”, you go past several places where you can fly off the edge of a rather tall cliff, doing so should get you both “Juggling Chainsaws” and the “Sandbag” achievements. This second video will help you to achieve the tricky “On Top Of The World” achievement. The full list…
I got my Skate 2 on Xbox 360 today, and it’s awesome. Being a sequel to the best skating game, Skate, this new game would have to be good to beat the original, and boy is it good. Skate 2 brings everything from Skate 1, but it also throws in some extra awesome features. The first major feature would have to be the ability to get off your board and experience the world from a different view, plus you can get up steps to some great spots. The only downside to this is that it’s a bit rigid, the character doesn’t move very smoothly. This feature could have had some extra time spent on it, however, it’s still good. The…
One of the first big releases for 2009, Lord of the Rings: Conquest, has now been released. But I wouldn’t urge anyone to go out and buy it. I have only ever played the 3 main Lord of the Rings movie games on the Playstation 2, so when I saw the demo for LOTR: Conquest, I thought, meh this might be good. After playing the demo I was reasonably impressed, I thought it was an ok game, not the best, but it was playable, and because of this, I decided to rent the game rather than buy it. The first thoughts of the game were quite good. You get some nice snippets of movie and sound track from the films…
As soon as my Xbox Live account had been unlocked yesterday, I went straight onto the marketplace and bought the new downloadable content for Fable 2, so here’s my view on it. Before I say anything about it, I have to say, I think Fable 2 really did need new content, don’t get me wrong, it’s a great game, but the length of it and the lack of online multiplayer really doesn’t give the game any reason to carry on playing it. However, with the new content, it now does. To start your new adventure, you begin by speaking to Gordon the boatman, in Bowerstone Market, who kindly gives you a ride in his submarine, also, he gives you one…
Amazingly enough, the day that I post about my long wait to get my Xbox Live account unlocked, it gets unlocked. So after around 2 weeks of waiting and alot of phone calls to them, they finally pressed the magic button, unlocked my account, allowing me to spend more money on my account. Now that my account is unlocked I can finally use the 2100 MS points I bought 2 weeks ago, so, new Fable 2 content here I come!
