A new trailer for the upcoming game, Assassins Creed 2. Not alot is given away within this trailer which is a great shame, however, there are several clues within the clip. It’s already been leaked that the game will take place in Italy and instead of playing as the original Altair, you will now play as a new character called Ezio. There has also been news that because the game is based in and around Venice, you will now have the ability to swim, which should make evading enemies easier, although, in this sequel, the enemies are meant to become harder as you progress through the game which could be interesting. Although Rock Band do bring out a lot of new tracks for download, I thought I would mention this one because they are so huge. From yesterday, April 14th, Rock Band 1 and 2 gamers will be able to get their hands on the latest album from American group, Guns N’ Roses. The album is called Chinese Democracy and it’s the bands 6th album, released in November, this album is the first for 15 years from Guns N’ Roses and although the time gap, it managed to get to number 2 in the charts. Jon Brooke, head of marketing at Eidos, has said that the upcoming new Batman game will not only be one of the biggest hits for this summer, but it will also be a bit hit after 2009 simply because he believes that “It’s as close to perfect as we’ve ever come, it looks amazing, plays beautifully and has a rich twisting storyline with enormous replayability”. He also said that the publisher of the game is planning a 4 month advertising campaign that will include adverts online, video and paper.
