The latest ‘Need For Speed’ has got some poor reviews recently, but I don’t see the problem with the game.

I got the game a few days ago, and have been playing it since, it’s great! With the awesome ‘Most Wanted’ title and then the poor ‘ProStreet’ game which was only good for about a day, the ‘Need For Speed’ title needed a pickup. And I think that this new ‘Need For Speed’ title is that lift.

The game throws you into the action rather suddenly, the opening movie chase scene cuts you into the action part way through, so make sure you’re not drinking like I was.

Need for Speed UndercoverOverall, the game is alot like ‘Need For Speed: Most Wanted’ with many high speed cop chases and the action packed street races.

However, the thing that makes this new game better than ‘Most Wanted’ is the amazing graphics and new cars. With a new range of incredible cars, you can race around the streets at lightening speeds.

Although the graphics and storyline of the game are brilliant, there are some downsides to the game. Firstly, the AI of the game is rather poor, within all of the races there are some drivers that go for the win, and then there are the ones that try to hold you up by holding you up or pushing you into a wall or on coming traffic. Generally, during a difficult race, you will end up cursing and restarting due to the AI.

Although the game has it’s downsides, the general play of the game is awesome, it’s a mix of ‘Need For Speed: Most Wanted’ and ‘Burnout Paradise’, and both of those games were brilliant. I can only advise than when it comes to making their next ‘Need For Speed’ title, EA spend a little bit more time of the AI. Overall I would give the ‘Undercover’ game a 8.5/10
