A third trailer has been released for the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 game, and this time it actually contains some pretty good gameplay footage. The first trailer that was released showed hardly anything and it was simply a tease, as for the second trailer, this one showed a little more actual gameplay but it also contained information that even more footage was going to be released on May 24th. Infinity Ware have kept to their word and a brand new trailer has been released which contains over 2 minutes of gameplay footage, awesome.
The trailer shows that it will be based upon the battle between the European/US special ops against a group of ultra-nationalist group of Russian lead by Vladimir Makarov. It seems that the storyline is carrying on from the original game because at the beginning of the video it shows clips from the original game featuring your Russian enemy, Imran Zakhaev.
Aswell as some storyline sneak peaks, the video is packed full of actions and explosions, some of which were revealed in the second trailer, the snowmobiles section for example, but just like the first game, I’m sure this one will be filled with the same, if not more, amount of action and enjoyment.
The trailer leaves us during an attack on some sort of castle while what looks like US/European troops being rapidly air lifted out of the castle just as an explosion rips through the remains of the castle.
I must say that this has to be one of the best trailers that’s been released in a while simply because of the amount of gameplay and action that we get to see, and I can’t wait for this game to be released on November 9th, although, I am a bit annoyed at Game for the pricing of this game because they have priced it at £44.99, although only £5 more than a normal game, they seem to have raised the price, no doubt because the game will be such a huge hit.
