If you thought Activision had finished announcing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bundles, you were wrong. Today, Activision and Microsoft have announced a special edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 Elite bundle, available all around the world.
This means that Modern Warfare 2 will join the small list of games that have their very own styled console. Some already on the list include Halo 3 and Resident Evil 5. However, this latest limited edition console seems to be better than all the others.
The entire bundle will come with a limited edition, Modern Warfare 2 styled, black Xbox 360 console, a 250GB hard drive, two black wireless Xbox 360 controllers, an official black headset, and finally, a basic copy of the game.
I’m a little surprised that you only get the basic bundle of the game, you’d think considering the amount of money you would be spending on the console package, they could atleast throw in the middle of the range, Hardened Edition.
One addition you might have noticed in the list that is brand new is the 250GB hard drive, previously the largest Xbox 360 hard drive was 120GB. Unfortunately, Microsoft don’t have any plans to release this massive drive for standalone sale, would cost a beefy amount if they did.
The console will be available in a number of countries around the world including, United States, Europe, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Colombia, and Chile. Obviously the price of the console will vary across the world depending on exchange rates, but in the US, the console will cost $399, better get the currency converters out.
nice console where do you buy them from ?
