Howard Brown hit hard by Lloyds TSB buyout of HBOS

It seems that the recent buyout of HBOS by Lloyds TSB has started to have some affect on the workers at Halifax, part of the HBOS Group.

One person that it’s hit the hardest is Howard Brown, the bloke that sings and dances on a surf board in the Halifax adverts, it seems that he has resorted to binge eating due to the current financial difficulties.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and for Howard, there’s always weight watchers.

For all of you Halifax savers clutching your heart thinking what’s wrong with poor Howard, it’s not really Howard Brown, the man pictured on the right, which looks alot like Howard, was shown in this weeks Have I Got News For You in a rather laughable clip where his chair collapses under the sheer pressure of his large cheeks.
