When I first saw that there was going to be a new real time stratergy game based on the Halo series, I thought, great! A new style Halo game, plus with a new part of the Halo storyline. When I got the game yesterday, I was certainly not disappointed. It’s absolutely brilliant and you will want to keep playing it for hours on end.
The game has a 15 level campaign which leads you through the events during the build up to the original Halo game. The storyline itself is pretty good and keeps you entertained for a few hours, but once you finish that, there is also some great things you can do. Firstly, there are the skirmishes, theres a huge range of maps, including Blood Gulch, will we ever see the end of that map, plus you can play as either UNSC or Covenant then choose which leader you want to be, each one comes with their own special abilities and units. Once you have had enough of playing against the AI, you can then take the battle online and play even more skirmishes against other players over Xbox Live.
All of this is really great, however, the first thing that you see and you see throughout the game are the movie scenes, they are absolutely amazing, the level of detail and graphics are incredible, you should really watch every single one because they are simply breath taking. There is a particular movie which I thought looked so cool, on mission 14, the clip at the end features a fight scene between 3 Spartans and a big bunch of Elites, guess who wins.
The only bad point about the game is that it’s on the Xbox 360. This may sound strange, but because it’s a real time strategy, I personally think it could be a much better game if it was on the PC. If it was on PC then the controls could have been alot more detailed, plus, it would be alot easier to control single units at one time. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great on the Xbox, I just feel it would be better on the PC.
Overall this is a great new addition to the Halo series, especially if you like playing RTS games, although I think it would be better on PC as it would be easier to control individual units, It’s still a great game on Xbox 360. Overall I would give it a 9/10.

This article was extremely interesting, especially since I was searching for thoughts on this subject last Thursday.
You think that other people would agree with you, I am not sure about that.
Obviously not all people will agree with my views on the game, especially with a game like this, RTS’s are not everyones type of game, but obviously if it is your type of game, it’s a good one to play.
Honestly, I’m not a game fanatic. But, the post was very interesting. And I asked my brother about it, and he said that it was a very good game. So, thanks for the review.
