A demo for the much anticipated Halo Wars game is now available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo is free of charge and allows you to experience the game before release and should help you to decide whether to pre-order the game or not.
Halo Wars, built specially for the Xbox 360 by the makers of ‘Age of Empires’, lets you command armies of the UNSC and the Covenant in huge battles within the Halo universe which took place 20 years before the events of Halo 1.
Hopefully the demo won’t take long to download, 1.4GB, then I can give it a whirl, hoping for the best considering I have already pre-ordered.
Watch out on the marketplace and here for news of other demos being released, should be expecting a demo for the funky looking Tom Clancey’s HAWK soon.
i can’t wait for this game, i think it could be amazing, i just hope it stacks up to starcraft 2 which is coming out soon, because that should be good no matter what. i’m interested to see how an rts runs control wise on a console.
