Some eager Xbox 360 Kinect owners that have already got their hands on the controller-less gaming have discovered a great feature of the new accessory for the Xbox 360. When you buy the Kinect system, not only do you get controller-less gaming, but you also get an amazing light show. Admittedly, you need some night vision goggles to view this amazing scene, but it’s still pretty awesome.

When viewing the room you’ve got Kinect set up in using a set of night vision goggles, the ones bundled with the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition will work a treat, you get an amazing light show of pinpoint sensors created by the Kinect’s obsidian eye.

You’ve finally got a good use for those night vision goggles you spent £120 on. Check out the video below to see what you can look forward to when Kinect is released in the UK next week.

Hi I'm Dan (aka Scrooby). I'm an 18 year old gamer and full time Web Developer for FreshEgg. Most of gaming tends to be on the Xbox 360 mainly because I love the achievement system. My favourite games are mainly FPS games, Halo, Gears of War and Call of Duty are particular favourites. However, I'll play pretty much all genres of games, anything from Guitar Hero 5 to Lego Harry Potter, they're all great!

  3. I was surprised by how well the Kinect tracked my movements but I’m guessing it varies from game to game. One workout with Your Shape Fitness had my legs burning and that is without using weights.

  4. I think this will be a great system for my kids and to bring out when we have company. It is an experience unlike any other when it comes to gaming; you are truly connected to your character. My buyers remorse is gone & I can’t wait to give this to the kids on Christmas

  5. With its impressive body tracking and unique, controller-free experience, Kinect is great for casual gaming parties and workouts–assuming you have enough room to play it.

  7. Pros: The hardware is slim, especially for what their offering, plus it really is amazing to not be able to need a controller, even if it is only launching it has a really good gaming libary, plus the sensor is 99.9 percent impossible to fool.
Cons: there’s more wires for an older Xbox console, plus standing is mandatory, the final problem is the fact that you need a decent amount of space to enjoy the games fully, and the final thing is that you have to be more active than the move active than the move
