I saw this advert on the TV yesterday and just had to stick it on the site, it’s great. The advert is to promote the launch of new Currys and PC World megastores which are opening in the UK. Watch what unfolds when R2-D2 and C-3PO discover one of these brand new stores! It says on the Dixons website (owner of both PC World and Currys) that this advert is part of a brand new marketing campaign, so hopefully we’ll see more of the robotic fair soon.

A brand new trailer has been released for the next upcoming game in the Need for Speed franchise, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. In the latest video, we get a good look at some of the fancy police cars, not sure what police force could afford motors like that, alongside the range of privately owned exotic cars that we can look forward to playing this November. The cars aren’t the only thing to look forward to though. As you’ll see in the trailer below, the game includes over 100 miles of roads to race on, littered with amazing scenery and high speed turns. Bungie have released a complete version of their “Deliver Hope” live-action trailer which features an epic battle. It looks like Bungie are once again trying to wet our appetites prior to their latest Halo game release next week, and my appetite is soaking. It’s a real shame that they never released a Halo move as if it was up to the same quality as the “Deliver Hope” trailer, I would be absolutely blown away. Unfortunately for the time being us gamers will have to settle for the awesome looking Halo: Reach which is being released on September 14th (next Tuesday). Enjoy.

Being named by the developers as “the end”, CodeMasters look to end their rally trilogy with a massive, and muddy, bang with the release of Dirt 3 in 2011. Just this week a brand new trailer was released for the game which shows off the wide range of areas and weather conditions gamers will be able to race around in the new year. Another video for an upcoming release has popped up this week. A new video has been created by Valve to promote the upcoming Left 4 Dead 2 game. Recently we’ve seen the release of part one of the Assassin’s Creed 2 short movie to support the release of the game. That video followed more of a serious note. Valve have gone for a little less budget, being set in a shed, and less serious video to help promote their game. To help promote the release of the upcoming game Assassin’s Creed 2, Ubisoft have been creating a short movie. The first part of the movie has now been released onto YouTube. The movie is titled Assassin’s Creed 2: Lineage and it follows the events that take place before the story of Assassin’s Creed 2. You follow the life of Assassin Giovanni Auditore, the father of Ezio, the character you play as in Assassin’s Creed 2. A third trailer has been released for the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 game, and this time it actually contains some pretty good gameplay footage. The first trailer that was released showed hardly anything and it was simply a tease, as for the second trailer, this one showed a little more actual gameplay but it also contained information that even more footage was going to be released on May 24th. a new trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum game has been released. This new trailer features a new addition to the villains side, Poison Ivy. She’ll fight along side the other villains in the game, which include The Joker, Bane, Two-Face and Catwomen, in  their attempt to escape from Arkham Asylum and kill The Batman. I’m not entirely sure when this game is set for release because it was scheduled for June 19th, however, I have previously posted that the game was going to be delayed which was confirmed by the makers. However, Game are still saying it’s set for release on June 19th so if you are planning to pre-order but haven’t yet, I would do it soon…

A new teaser trailer has been released by EA for the upcoming game, Battlefield Bad Company 2. Just like many other trailers that have been released recently, not alot of content is shown, and even less actual game content. This video seems to be worse than all the others for lack of content because it contains no clues real clues and no gameplay what so ever. I guess we will have to wait a little bit longer before we see some decent content out of this game.
