As a fan of Batman, I was exited when I first heard there was a new game coming out, its been years since we have had a actual Batman game and this game does not disappoint. I have always found that renting games is one of the best ways to play the most recent games. It’s good for a number of reasons, whether you are a little bit strapped for cash at the time of release, or maybe you are just unsure about the game. Even if it’s neither of those reasons, renting is still a good option, my example would be with the Lego games, despite being really great games, they are short, and with no multiplayer, I find myself completing them in a number of days. I don’t normally buy the Xbox Live Arcade games, but recently there have been some popular ones to hit the store. The first one being Shadow Complex, the first arcade game created by Epic, the makers of Gears of War. A new special Battlefield game has been released, Battlefield 1943. What makes this game special is because it’s a 100% downloadable game. All you have to do is pay for it online using either Microsoft points or real money depending on which console you’re using, and then the game is yours. Because this is a downloadable game, DICE wanted to reduce the size of the game, so it’s multi-player only. Yet another Guitar Hero game has been released this week, Guitar Hero Greatest Hits, some places are calling it Smash Hits, but it’s Greatest Hits on the box. The different thing with this Guitar Hero game compared to all the others is that the game contains absolutely no new songs. When I first heard about the new Transformers game I was unsure after the epic failure of the first game. But as a huge fan of the films I saw the second film at the first showing and after watching the film and seeing how amazing it was, I decided to buy the game. But after playing the game I realised it is actually an alright game. I know this game was released back in 2007, but when it came out I rented it and my blog wasn’t up at the time. Now I have bought the game at a bargain price and with the sequel being released later this year, I thought I’d review it for anyone that hasn’t yet played it.
