A third trailer has been released for the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 game, and this time it actually contains some pretty good gameplay footage. The first trailer that was released showed hardly anything and it was simply a tease, as for the second trailer, this one showed a little more actual gameplay but it also contained information that even more footage was going to be released on May 24th. a new trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum game has been released. This new trailer features a new addition to the villains side, Poison Ivy. She’ll fight along side the other villains in the game, which include The Joker, Bane, Two-Face and Catwomen, in  their attempt to escape from Arkham Asylum and kill The Batman. I’m not entirely sure when this game is set for release because it was scheduled for June 19th, however, I have previously posted that the game was going to be delayed which was confirmed by the makers. However, Game are still saying it’s set for release on June 19th so if you are planning to pre-order but haven’t yet, I would do it soon…

If you are like me and absolutely love the Rock Band games and you simply can’t wait for the upcoming The Beatles: Rock Band game, then you’ll certainly enjoy this bit of news because yet another Rock Band guitar controller has been displayed. To go with the other 2 guitar controllers that have already been announced, this one is the Höfner bass controller that was used by Sir Paul McCartney, although, this controller has been designed for a right handed player although Sir Paul is a right handed musician. Rockstar Games have announced that they will be releasing details on the upcoming new downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto 4. They said the following: “Details on 2nd episode of GTAIV downloadable content coming soon,” this news was released on Twitter. There has also been some news released recently that the sub title for this new content is ‘Blood and a Four Leaf Clover’ which hints that this new content could be based on yet another new character, but this time with Irish roots. I certainly can’t wait for these details to be released because the first downloadable content, The Lost and the Damned, was absolutely brilliant, just like the main game really.

Activision have today announced some details about the the upcoming game, Guitar Hero 5. The major details that were released was that the game is going to arrive in Autumn for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 2 and the Nintendo Wii. The upcoming Guitar Hero 5 will contain 85 master recordings of which will contains songs from artists that include Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, The White Stripes, Santana, Kings of Leon and Vampire Weekend. They also said that the entire setlist will be available from the beginning of the game and you won’t have to unlock songs as you go play. A new teaser trailer has been released by EA for the upcoming game, Battlefield Bad Company 2. Just like many other trailers that have been released recently, not alot of content is shown, and even less actual game content. This video seems to be worse than all the others for lack of content because it contains no clues real clues and no gameplay what so ever. I guess we will have to wait a little bit longer before we see some decent content out of this game.

Some brand new content for the brilliant Fable 2 game has been released onto the Xbox Live Marketplace. The new content is titled “See the Future” and it is the second content pack that has come to Xbox Live. I recently posted that The Beatles: Rock Band preorder club had been opened and that it would contain some pictures of the guitar controllers that they will be releasing with the game. I also said that I would get some images of these guitars when they appeared on the net. Some new footage of the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 game has been released. It looks like the majority of the footage is taken from a range of cut scenes, although there are snippets that look like real in-game stuff. That aside, it looks like we will be enjoying a range of new missions including a snow mobile mission, some under water adventures, and some of those good old missions where you have to take out your enemies from the air above. The video also tempts gamers with the news that we could be seeing some more content on May 24th during the NBA Eastern Conference finals, can’t wait for that to pop up on the radar.

Develop Magazine have released their Develop top 100 bankable games studios for the fifth year, and this year the number 1 bankable games studio is Blizzard, creators of World of Warcraft, the largest MMORPG in the world and holding a whopping 11+ million subscribers. Blizzard managed to reach the top of the 100 list this year after beating competition like last years number 1, Nintendo, and other British studios like Rockstar North, creators of Grand Theft Auto 4.
