I saw this advert on the TV yesterday and just had to stick it on the site, it’s great. The advert is to promote the launch of new Currys and PC World megastores which are opening in the UK. Watch what unfolds when R2-D2 and C-3PO discover one of these brand new stores! It says on the Dixons website (owner of both PC World and Currys) that this advert is part of a brand new marketing campaign, so hopefully we’ll see more of the robotic fair soon.

It happened, my Rock Band pass drum pedal snapped, which is just a little bit of a pain. It’s mainly a pain because I bought it from Zavvi and since coming out of administration, the amount of stores they have is slightly lacking, especially in the area I live, not even sure they would give me a replacement, but I might as well try. A new type of gaming has been announced at the Game Developers Conference (GDC). The OnLive service is a new type of gaming service which allows you to play your favorite games over the internet, saving you the shelf and hard drive space. To play these games you simply need one of two things, either a browser plug-in or a cheap device called the MicroConsole to allow you to stream these games over your internet from the OnLive servers.
