Call of Duty 4 Played by Over 15 Million

Call of Duty 4: Modern WarfareAfter just 2 years of being released, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has generated an online population of over 15 million gamers.

This news comes from Robert Bowling, part of the Infinity Ward team, when he collected the Video Game BAFTAs earlier this month.

He also said that of those 15 million, 11 million were Xbox 360 users and the other 4 million were PS3, however, he didn’t say how many PC players there were, so does that mean there aren’t alot of PC players, or he simply didn’t say.

By the sounds of that news, Xbox 360 gamers are just love the Call of Duty games, however, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 set for release near the end of 2009, will this new game be as popular as the original?
