Assassins Creed 2 Teaser Trailer

A new trailer for the upcoming game, Assassins Creed 2. Not alot is given away within this trailer which is a great shame, however, there are several clues within the clip.

It’s already been leaked that the game will take place in Italy and instead of playing as the original Altair, you will now play as a new character called Ezio. There has also been news that because the game is based in and around Venice, you will now have the ability to swim, which should make evading enemies easier, although, in this sequel, the enemies are meant to become harder as you progress through the game which could be interesting.

Onto the video. The whole video is a series of replica drawings by Leonardo da Vinci and at certain points within the trailer there are several drawings of the arm blade which suggests that this weapon will be carried through from the first game.

Another thing you see is some sort of wing, this could suggest there will be some sort of flight involved, possibly the ability to glide down from buildings.

Overall, the video is a bit of a disappointment as you don’t see any gameplay and it’s simply full of clues, which is good, but just not what I expected from a trailer. This aside, I’m sure more will be dropped in the next few months as the game comes closer to release towards the end of this year.
